After a 3 month break, Danny and Jay return with an all new episode of Diablo’s Den! This episode celebrates the 20 year anniversary of Skarhead’s “Kings At Crime“. Former Skarhead members, Brian “Mitts” Daniels (Madball) and Aaron “White Owl” Collins (White Trash, Butterbrain) join the show to talk about the creative process of the album.

Danny and his former bandmates go through KAC, song-by-song and explain the stories behind the tracks. The guests also talk about the various hijinks and violence that ensued during this portion of the band’s career. This is a must listen for not only Skarhead fans but fans of NYHC lore!

This week’s Diablo’s Den is a very special episode! Danny and Jay welcome Mina Caputo of Life of Agony and NYC Music Industry Icon, Michael Alego to the podcast. Mina talks about the past, present and future of LOA and her experiences growing up in the Brooklyn Hardcore/Metal scenes.

Michael discusses his transition from 70s NYC Punk fan to working in the music business as an A&R rep with such superstar artists as Metallica and Cyndi Lauper. Both guests also speak about coming up in the scene from an LGBT perspective and what their experiences were like.
